Rob Wright Vendetta Kinda Mood for solo acoustic guitar and tape duration: 7 minutes Vendetta Kinda Mood For some time a good friend had been requesting that I write a piece for him to perform. This work was written in answer to his requests and draws upon cult Western Movies and the flamenco technique for inspiration. The tape part owes much to the material generated from Modalys, a software development by Dr. Richard Polfreman, Research, University of Hertfordshire. Rob Wright currently lectures at the University of Hertfordshire where he oversees Music and Sound Design Technology. Concentrating on electroacoustic composition his work has gained recognition at international competitions and at the moment he is concentrating on writing for solo instruments with tape or live electronics.
